Istanbul Expat Center is a firm founded and run by Başak Ergil, a scholar and international relations expert with an experience of teaching in the most remarkable public and private universities in Istanbul as well as an administrative post in the Foreign Relations Center of Istanbul Bar Association, the biggest Bar in Europe and the third biggest Bar of the world.
Having spent all her professional life with expat friends, colleagues, jurists and clients, along with her MA and PhD studies in the field of Translation Studies with the perspective of regarding translational phenomena as a part of intercultural and cross-cultural communication, Ergil founded Istanbul Expat Center in 2010, the year Istanbul has inspired countless people as the European Capital of Culture.
Ergil is presently teaching part-time at some private universities besides providing expats with all kinds of assisstance throughout their invaluable adventures in the gorgeuous city of Istanbul…She works with a team of enthusiastic expat and Turkish citizens…
