    Hi everbody there,

I met Basak in January 2.010 and she was an incredible help when i moved for four months to Istanbul.

She helped me with the accomodation, transports and to get a Turkish cell phone which are the basics things you need first in a city and made things much much easier the first days.

She also showed me interesting things of turkish culture and took me dinner to a mehana and a restaurante of tipical anatolian food that was great cause she explained me lots of things of turkish food.

I studied turkish with her as well, and also was great cause she reaaly focuses in showing you how to speak a conversation for daily life that is really useful, i did not learn like perfect turkish but just the basics to move around the city for 4 months.
Learning turkish is not a silly idea if you are going to stay for long in Istanbul because not a lot of people in the streets can speak english.

So just to say Basak is a great host in Istanbul, she is funny but develops her work very professionally and she knows a lot about hte cultural life of Istanbul and can be a great help with your first steps in the city.

    Görüsürüz

and just enjoy Istanbul is a magic city !!!!
